About this tour
Hvar Wine Tasting
Hvar's terroir is exceptional. Rugged limestone soils and dry Adriatic summers produce wines of extraordinary character. This tour pairs the pleasure of a private boat with an exclusive tasting at one of two celebrated local estates — your choice at the time of booking.
Colnago Winery sits on the Pakleni Islands, reached in under 20 minutes from Hvar. Their estate-grown Plavac Mali is one of the most awarded wines in Croatia. Alternatively, Bilo Idro in the hillside village of Sv. Nedelja cultivates vines on dramatic south-facing slopes above the sea, producing both red and crisp white varieties.
Each tasting is guided by the winemaker or a senior member of their team, with four to six wines paired alongside local prosciutto, sheep's cheese, and olive oil. The return sail back to Hvar Town is the ideal way to let the afternoon settle.
